Geology & exploration
Previous work done
- The tenements form part of several km long graphite units as mapped by the Geological Survey of Tanzania
- Previous owners mapped and sampled an area over 1km x 400m from which 18 grab samples were sent to labs for testwork
- Results from this testwork returned impressive grades average 12.14TGC% and highs of 19.6% TGC%
- Sampling was done over a relatively small portion of 2PLs leaving several areas within these PLs unexplored
Current work done
- 30 grab samples collected from locations sampled by
- previous owners and sent to laboratories in Tanzania, South
- Africa and Germany
- Results from all three labs confirm the average grades
received by previous owners - Flake distribution work was carried out in the South African
laboratory - Mapping has commenced on a 1km by 1km grid as part of
identifying more targets for planned drilling - A drilling contractor has been identified and is due to
be mobilized - Drilling will be phased over 3 cycles (Phase 1: 1,000m;
Phase 2: 2,000m and Phase 3: 2,000m)
