Local Miners, Global Impact
Revolutionising the Sustainable Supply Chain for Electric Vehicle Batteries. The global shift towards electric vehicles (EVs) and renewable energy is undeniably gaining momentum. As we collectively seek greener and more sustainable alternatives to traditional fossil fuels, the lithium-ion battery has emerged as the cornerstone of this transformation.
VISION AND VALUES
Our vision is to be a leading African company in the discovery, development and value addition of battery minerals that form part of the clean energy transition.
To achieve this, we will collaborate with owners of prospective mineral rights in countries and jurisdictions within Africa and bring these assets up the value curve. In the short term, we seek to develop a portfolio of assets including graphite, copper, nickel, lithium and manganese.
In the medium to long term, we will enter strategic partnerships with auto manufacturers, developmental agencies and with specialist companies which have expertise in developing battery technology that will feed into the clean energy ecosphere.

COLLABORATE
To achieve this, we will collaborate with owners of prospective mineral rights in countries and jurisdictions within Africa and bring these assets up the value curve.
SHORT TERM
In the short term, we seek to develop a portfolio of assets including graphite, copper, nickel, lithium and manganese.
LONG TERM
In the medium to long term, we will enter strategic partnerships with auto manufacturers, developmental agencies (such as AFC, EBID, IDC etc.) and with specialist companies which have expertise in developing battery technology that will feed into the clean energy ecosphere.
INTRODUCING OUR PROJECTS
Our early-stage strategy is to partner with local owners of licenses of target minerals and bring the projects up the value curve.
We seek to build a pipeline of projects and to accelerate the development of undercapitalized and undervalued assets with potential to join the global supply chain of critical minerals in the clean-energy transition.
GAM will prioritize African mining jurisdictions with diverse green minerals like Tanzania, Namibia and the Democratic Republic of Congo for investment. Emerging mining jurisdictions with significant endowments of green minerals like Nigeria as well as established but challenging mining jurisdictions like Zimbabwe would also be considered for strategic fit into GAM’s portfolio.
