Overview

Propelled by a steadfast commitment to shaping the future of sustainable mining, Green Africa Minerals (GAM) is embarking on a transformative project that is more than just an exploration opportunity, but also a representation of a strategic venture that aligns with our vision to lead in ethical and responsible mining practices, thereby fostering positive environmental and societal changes.

Manganese mining

Africa is home to 30% of the world’s critical mineral reserves, many of which are essential for renewable and low-carbon technologies. Demand for these critical minerals continues to surge globally as the world seeks cleaner energy forms and Africa is positioned as one of the preferred strategic sources of these raw materials.

GAM seeks to develop a portfolio of assets including graphite, copper, cobalt, nickel, lithium and manganese and establish strategic collaborations with companies that offer innovative technologies and expertise in the development of battery technologies that will feed into the clean energy ecosphere.

We are partnering with established mining and state-owned mining companies to pursue opportunities in countries like Tanzania and the DRC. In Tanzania, an application for four graphite Prospecting Licenses (PLs) has been completed with the granting of these licenses imminent. In DRC and Nigeria, we have initiated Business Development discussions with Gècamines and lithium licence holders, respectively and in Namibia, an NDA has been signed with base and rare metals investment group Epangelo Mining.

GAM is rooted in the belief that our dedication to exploring critical mineral opportunities in Africa and embracing vertical integration sets us apart. We position ourselves as pivotal contributors to the profound impacts anticipated in Africa’s mining sector amid a clean energy transition. As we navigate the intricate landscape of sustainable resource extraction, we aim to establish a paradigm where our actions echo within global industry standards, underscoring our role as leaders in this era of transformation.

GAM is currently engaged in the exploration of its first deposit located in Tanzania, a substantial graphite reserve within a secure and stable jurisdiction. The capital raised will be directed towards activities such as sampling, mapping, drilling, and test work to further assess the potential of this deposit.
